Account information: Your name, email address, and encrypted password. If you sign in with Apple, Apple provides your name and email (with optional private email relay) for account creation only — we never receive your Apple ID password or device passcode.

If you connect Apple Health (HealthKit) on iOS or Health Connect on Android, the App reads steps, heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), sleep analysis, weight, active energy, and workout data to personalize your wellness experience and calculate readiness scores. We write workout data back to Apple Health or Health Connect only when you explicitly complete a workout session — no other data is written. You can revoke access at any time through your device settings.

The App includes automated wellness check-ins that may detect patterns such as low energy intake, rapid weight changes, or unusually frequent food logging. These are intended as general wellness support and are not clinical assessments. You can disable these check-ins in the App settings.

Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers provided by Supabase. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms and never stored in plain text. Data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher. We implement access controls to limit who can access user data and regularly review our security practices.

Vitarix uses best-in-class AI models to power features like AI meal chat, food-scan nutrition estimation, workout generation, recovery insights, and recipe suggestions. To deliver these features, your inputs (text descriptions, meal photos, workout preferences) are sent to third-party AI providers through a first-party proxy that adds authentication, rate limiting, and prompt-injection guards:

Your data is NOT used to train AI models. Inputs are processed for inference only and are not retained on provider servers beyond the request log. The first time you use any AI feature, the App shows a consent dialog asking for permission — you can decline without losing core app functionality (meal logging, workout tracking, hydration, and progress all work without AI). Revoke consent anytime from Profile → Settings → Data & Privacy → AI Features.

Important: AI nutritional estimates are approximate and for wellness purposes only. AI-generated workout plans, meal suggestions, and nutrition estimates are not medical advice and should not replace professional guidance.

Active accounts: Data is retained as long as your account is active.
